Lovely reading for entire family Faith based writing at its most pure. I bought two for my granddaughters age eight and thirteen. Read it along with the eight-year-old. The sweetness and beauty of the story kept her enthralled. Real to life, it deals with, love, family, friendships, and how they navigated through time and troubles with each other, their love and faith in God.
Such a good book. I laughed and I cried throughout the whole book. As a dog lover I really appreciated the dog aspect of this book. I was hooked by page 2. Great if you are looking for a quick read with a good story for adults and young adults as well.
This is a fast-paced book that keeps you wondering what’s next. The characters live God-centered lives and the author weaves and intertwines their stories as they find love and a future directed by Him. The author includes relatable incidents to hold your interest and keep you engaged to the end. A good read and a very positive book.
Love this book! This is the sweetest romance I have read in a very long time. It incorporates Christmas, rescued dogs, life-long friendships and true love as only God can give. A beautifully written Christian romance! I hope you keep going, Lisa! You are gifted in writing as well!
I loved this book, once I started reading it I could not stop. I loved the story of beautiful Romance and Love with God in the Midst. It makes me dream of finding such beautiful love that could exist in real life when the Savior is in the midst. Beautifully written, beautiful romantic stories and scriptures that enhance and support the thinking or actions of the characters. Well Done Lisa McClung. I can see a movie coming!!
This wholesome, action-packed Christ-filled book is a must read for ages 12 and up. Teen groups can study the story and see how young people can glorify God while dating. There are dog rescues, the salvation story and forgiveness and restoration, plus so much more. You won’t want to miss all the Christmas miracles either!! Each chapter glorifies God as you read about the 3 couples finding love in Gods perfect timing.
What a lovely story! It is wonderful to find an author who knows how to express her Christian faith through these delightful characters as they face the joys and challenges that life presents. Lives intertwine as Providence directs their paths and beautiful unexpected romances blossom. I appreciate that the author did not compromise Christian morals in the story line so that even a teenager could safely read and enjoy a good romance book. This is the first book of fiction that I’ve read in years, and I thoroughly enjoyed it!

This is a beautiful story of redemption. From heartache came a deep restoration of God’s love. A beautiful love story that gives hope to keep walking in faith and trust in the Lord.

Just when I thought all Christmas stories share the same concept, along comes “One Christmas Eve” with a fresh take on my favorite holiday season! A house fire literally ignites this story and sets our characters in to motion, albeit in different directions, but all with the same goal, finding love without sacrificing their core Christian values. I also liked that the book was set in Pittsburgh – a beautiful backdrop and a reminder that in this blue collared city, working hard and praising God will unlock the miracles of Christmas! Lisa McClung, in her 1st book has packed action, romance and humor all while glorifying God. I highly recommend picking up this book, and once you do, you won’t put it down!
Lisa McClung has found a need and has been gifted by God to supply the need. She radiantly portrays many familiar songs as she speaks to the deaf through an art form of grace and beauty, interpreting the music’s rhythm and words through American Sign Language (ASL). Her countenance expresses the love she has for the deaf and is an inspiration to all who view her DVD or see her in person. Her DVD also includes several unique scenes of her pet, Molly, who speaks bird praises to God, a result of Lisa’s patience and tenacity in teaching her feathered friend. This combination of talents makes a delightful and entertaining DVD for all ages, hearing or deaf….I highly recommend this DVD!
Lisa is a blessing and a testimony to all who see her perform. A blessing in her grace and agility of performance; that transforms into music for those who cannot hear.
